For guests/non-members, your ticket purchase for the Holy Days will be applied toward our annual membership fee when you choose to join our wonderful TAO family within 90 days of our Holy Day services.
PARKING:
Any services held at Cason United Methodist Church includes parking at Cason. For Erev Rosh Hashanah, you can park at Trinity for dinner, and then walk to Cason for services. If you have trouble finding a space, or have any issues, please call Rebekah at 404.217.4331.
Cason United Methodist Church
342 North Swinton Avenue, Delray 33444
For any services or meals held at 440 North Swinton Avenue, parking is in the Early Childhood Parking Lot behind 440 on the Trinity Lutheran Church property. Please do not park in the front parking lot at Trinity and help us continue to solidify our growing fellowship with our holy neighbors.
SECURITY:
We will have ample security for every service. Every current member is registered for each service. Please arrive 30 minutes before services as lines will form.
New this year, we will not have nametags. We will have special bracelets for each service to ensure our safety.
We will request you show your ID before entering the Sanctuary. We hope to have heard from you about your plans to join us in person so we can best prepare.
USHERS:
We will have volunteer ushers to help us. Please note entry to the Sanctuary is restricted when the Ark is open and during Rabbi Marc’s sermons. Doors open 15 minutes before services begin.
LIVESTREAM:
All services will be livestreamed. New this year, any service in the main Sanctuary will be livestream, not on Zoom, from our website. All livestream service information and passwords will be shared with current members, and any non-member who registers for our Holy Day services
CHILDREN:
Children are welcome to pray, sing and dance with us. When we are sitting, please have children sit with you in a seat, not on the floor or in the aisles due to safety regulations.
Children’s supervised play (10 and under) will be offered during our adult/family services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Our ushers will direct you to the Sunday School classroom.
We will have credentialed caregivers and special guests to teach about our Jewish holy days. Snacks, holiday-themed art projects, and other treats will provide meaningful and fun services for your children.
Questions? Please contact us via email: [email protected] or (954) 888-1408.
BRING YOUR SHOFAR
Rabbi Marc invites all congregants to bring your shofar to High Holy Day services to participate in the Tekiah G’dola – final blast – to raise our sound to the heavens together.
TZEDAKAH & MITZVOT
At this most holy of days and Teshuvah, we are asking this year for canned food to donate to Cason United Methodist Church for their Caring Kitchen.
As well, in support of the Homeless Coalition of Delray, Cason has created a “Donation Station” to collect items for their Shower Truck. Towels, unopened soap, shampoo, flip flops, and other toiletries are greatly appreciated.
BREAK-THE-FAST NOSH!
Following the conclusion of Yom Kippur and Havdallah, we invite you to join us for Break the Fast – cheese platters, fruit plates, tuna & egg salad mini sandwiches, bagels, cream cheese, cookies, juice and coffee.
