For Jews in mourning, it is traditional to say daily Kaddish in a minyan, which is a group of 10 or more persons. This virtual age is calling forth new paradigms to support the mourner when the old forms of in-face meetings just aren’t possible.
In this time of deep, collective mourning, join Rabbi Geela Rayzel Raphael for a Kaddish Minyan in the month of February. This program is in honor of Rabbi Geela Rayzel’s mother, Natalie Levison Robinson, Nechama Leah bat Elke v’chayyim.
This minyan will take place every evening (except Fridays) in the month of February, from 9 – 9:30 pm EST (6 – 6:30 pm PST). All who mourn, who are honoring yahrtzeits, or who wish to participate in the mitzvah of making a minyan, are invited to join this important program. Register here – select any days in which you are able to participate in the minyan. Please know that by registering, you are committing to attend and participate in that evening’s minyan. If you are unable to attend an evening for which you have registered, please follow the instructions in your email to open up that slot to another attendee.
If you would like to express your gratitude for this type of program, please feel free to make a donation at www.aleph.org/donate. If you have any questions about this program, or would like to see it extended beyond the month of February, please reach out to ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal Events Manager, Stephanie, at [email protected].

All Fed is ramping up efforts to help Jewish Family Services in Palm Beach County meet its ongoing needs for personal care items and shelf-stable foods. To help them, we are now collecting these items for donation. There are two drop-off points (so far) in Boca Raton and Boynton Beach. For drop-off addresses, please contact Anne Goldberg directly [email protected] or [email protected]. TIP: This is a great way to divest of clutter while helping others! |
