A member privilege, we meet once a month on Zoom, usually on the third Monday of the month, in an intimate setting, where we connect with each other while exploring and sharing our past and present in a non-judgmental, accepting environment of support and love. The topics are varied – Judaism, women’s issues, upcoming holidays, Torah.
This month Yona McWilliam will be facilitating. The title is: MUSIC and YOU
Music/Vibration is the very essence of our life. All of life vibrates and thus makes music from the smallest atom. We make music when we speak and even when we breathe with our voices being literally stringed instruments. During our meeting, let’s consider what music, in any of its forms, has meant or means in our lives, and the mystical dimensions of vibration. We’ll reflect on whether we’re getting what we wish for from music or if we wish for more.
Optional: If you wish, bring a music maker to express yourself with something other than your voice. Looking forward to exploring together, Monday 4/15.
This painting, lovingly portraying our spirit and infinite talents, was created by Rabbi Shoni Labowitz, z”l, and contains the lyrics to the song we sing at the end of our meetings: “Woman I am, Spirit I am, I am the infinite within my soul, I have no beginning and I have no end, All this I am.”
Join this sacred circle of woman and remember, what happens in WSG, stays in WSG!
Non-members are welcome to attend twice before joining TAO. Non-members, please
