This week’s Wisdom Class will feature Rabbi Jill Hammer, PhD. Her discussion will be:
“Returning to the Place: Meditation and Mystery in the Book of Creation”
Rabbi Hammer will share core passages from Sefer Yetzirah, an ancient work of Jewish mystical practice, and offer her original translations. We’ll discuss the book’s approach to mindful consciousness and to finding holiness in the physical world. We’ll reflect on a few of the book’s key images and consider how these images might help us become more present in our own lives.
