For this upcoming event, we will be exploring the story of Megillat Ruth and the concept of “Matan Torah” that we celebrate in Shavuot. This will be an interactive discussion where we would explore some of the key teachings of Ruth’s story and how they relate to our time.
Galit Wolberg-Yoeli is a lifelong seeker of knowledge and inspiration.
She was born in Israel and moved to the US after graduating from Bar Ilan University to pursue her dream and live in NYC. In the Big Apple she completed her Masters’ degree and met her husband, Raan.
6 years ago they moved to South FL with their son Oz and daughter Amit.
For the past 4 years Galit has been studying with a renowned teacher and deepened her spiritual practice. She started studying Jewish texts and as a way to develop meaningful Jewish life for herself and her family.
She is mostly interested in learning more about women and how they are portrayed in the Jewish texts.
