This week, WSG welcomes Cindy Amberger.
Cindy spent 5 months last winter in 2024 volunteering in Israel. She knew she couldn’t continue with her winter travel plans and simply text her “framily” and friends. You see, Cindy’s adopted kibbutz father was taken hostage on October 7th. Shlomo Mansour remains in the hands of Hamas as the oldest hostage at age 86.
Come hear Shlomo and Cindy’s story at the upcoming Women’s Spirituality Group Meeting on Monday, October 21 from 7-8:30 pm ET.
Cindy is from Minnesota and a friend of Sherry Stern. This photo was taken when she attended the Return Of Hostages Historic D.C. Rally in November 2023.
A member privilege, we meet once a month on Zoom, usually on the third Monday of the month, in an intimate setting, where we connect with each other while exploring and sharing our past and present in a non-judgmental, accepting environment of support and love. The topics are varied – Judaism, women’s issues, upcoming holidays, Torah.
This painting, lovingly portraying our spirit and infinite talents, was created by Rabbi Shoni Labowitz, z”l, and contains the lyrics to the song we sing at the end of our meetings: “Woman I am, Spirit I am, I am the infinite within my soul, I have no beginning and I have no end, All this I am.”
Join this sacred circle of woman and remember, what happens in WSG, stays in WSG!
Non-members are welcome to attend twice before joining TAO.
