Wedding Poem
THROUGH YOUR EYES. . .
by Cecile Yael Lubin Dumornay
Fleur, Bob
Michael, Merrill
On the ocean of life
You've met
And for many years
Together you've swam
With or against the current
Today on this shore
With lucky us
You pause
To take it all in
Celebrating this time
This transcending moment
When in each other's eyes
You looked and discovered...
Sparkling as colored crystal
Pulsating vividly
Exuding a "je ne sais quoi"
Fluid, loving, smoothly powerful
As from a waterfall
Inviting, enthralling, irresistible
It's the quintessence of you
Flowing straight toward me
Steadily, irresistibly
As if knowing its rightful way
To its rightful destination
No time to question or discern
Right or wrong
Precise as an arrow
Yet, respectful of a flow |
OH, MY GOD!
by Cecile Yael Lubin Dumornay
Beautiful
Why would I not be?
Worthy of love
No doubt
Can expect no less
From a facet of God
An expression
Of God's Essence
Which I am
Unique and special
Beautiful
Essential to the puzzle
Of God-Universe
Oh, my God!
God in me
God-me
Unfolding, blossoming
Reaching, connecting
With other God's particles
Of all shapes and forms
'Till God-Universe
Bursts
In the glory of its purpose
Fulfilled! |
